The collection of the Library includes books, journals, conference proceedings, theses, dissertations, reference material (e.g. dictionaries, encyclopedias) and audiovisual material (e.g. CD-ROMs, DVDs, videotapes). Permission to use the Library is granted to all members of the academic community as well as to members of the broader community subject to registration and issue of a “Member Card”.
The users of the Library can:
- Borrow titles (books, theses, CD-ROMs, videotapes, etc.)
- Renew the titles by phone or on the spot
- Use the reading-room and information sources (encyclopedias, dictionaries, etc.)
- Access hard copy and electronic journals
- Order articles and books by other libraries, subject to charge (see Inter-library link)
- Photocopy library materials (card cost: 3 euros for 100 copies).
The maximum number of titles that a user can borrow and the duration of the loan are shown on the following table. In case of a delayed title, the fee is 0.30 € per day.
